Graphite Reactors
Decommissioning graphite reactors poses major environmental, social and human challenges. Our innovative approach is based on risk mitigation and the development of remotely operated tools.
Light Water Reactors
Our experience in supporting EDF's decommissioning projects enables us to offer an integrated approach to waste management. We select and implement the best cutting plan and scenario, optimised in terms of time and waste management cost.
Additional Types of Reactors
Cyclife offers decommissioning projects on site, taking advantage of its technical expertise in the decontamination of systems, structures and sites (soil and ground water). Cyclife can also provide a wide range of dismantling services. These include cold and hot segmentation.
Nuclear Cycle Plant
Nuclear fuel cycle is a series of industrial processes that generate electricity. Fuel removed from a reactor at the end of its useful life can be reprocessed. Most of it is recycled into new fuel.
Metallic Waste
Decontaminate your low-level radioactive metal waste, reduce its volume by a factor of 10 to 15, and even recycle the metals where possible, thanks to our three dedicated facilities, two of which are equipped with smelters.
Retired Large Component
Reduce the costs related to the decommissioning of your large components. Thanks to our facilities and expertise in decontamination and waste volume reduction, large components are shipped off site in one piece. The result: shorter shutdown schedules, optimised storage volumes, including recycling of materials where possible, and less costly projects.
Incinerable Wastes
Cyclife offers bespoke solutions for managing your radioactive waste, depending on its level of radioactivity and lifespan. Our two incinerators can process up to 6,500 tonnes of combustible waste a year, generated by nuclear facilities (during maintenance, operation or decommissioning), laboratories and hospitals.
Legacy and hazardous waste
We can operate directly on your radioactive waste production sites, to bring containerised waste into compliance with transport regulations.
We also isolate asbestos-contaminated and non-compactable waste so that the metals can be recycled using the smelting process.
